Arkansas Open: usually 1 or 2nd weekend of March
5SS, G/120, EF: $35 in advance or $40 at site.
Based on 40 entries: 1st - $200; 2nd - $150, A,B,C, D/E - $100. Unrated: Entry Fee and Trophy
Trophies to all prizes (for Arkansas Residents); Upset Prize: $75. ½ point bye if requested at registration.
Registration: Sat 8-9am, Rounds: 9:30 am; 2 pm; 6:30 pm. Sun rounds: 9 am; 1:30 pm
ACA & USCF required, OSA, NS, NC, W.
Bids due for Ark Champ: March 30
Arkansas Championship: usually 3rd weekend in August, not always

Schedule 1: Reg: Fri. 6:00-6:50 PM. G/120. Rds: Fri 7 PM, Sat 9:30, 2:30, 7:00, Sun 9:00 & 2:00.
Schedule 2: Reg: Sat. 8:00-9:00 AM. Rds 1 & 2 are G/60. Rd 1 - 9:30; Rd 2 - 11:40, merge rd 3 - G/120.
EF: $45 in advance, otherwise $50.
½ point is available if asked for at registration.
$$b/50 entries: 1st place: $400. 2nd: $250; A $200; B, C, D $200, $50; E $100; Unr $50. Upset prize of $50. Plaques for winners (must be AR resident). USCF & ACA req'd. OSA, NS, NC, W.

With the plaques, the profit margin is small.
4SS, G/60. Entry: $25 early, $30 on site. Registration: 8 – 8:45 am. Games start at 9 am.
Prizes: 85% payout plus plaques. Overall 1st - 20% + plaque; 2nd – 15%; B - 15% + plaque; C - 15% + plaque;
D - 10% + plaque; E and under, including Unrated - 10% + plaque.
Takes at least 2 to make a class
Unrateds are eligible for only class prize.
